the wildcat mission
Wildcat Ridge Farms is a family owned 150-acre farm where we raise beef, pork, chicken (broilers and layers), turkeys, saltwater shrimp - yes, you read that right - and soon other seafood, such as tilapia and rainbow trout.
We are a registered Ohio meat warehouse (OH Dept. of Ag) that allows us to sell individual cuts of meat up to a whole animal. Because of this registration, we must use a "full" butcher as opposed to a "custom" butcher, meaning that the inspector (USDA or ODA) is on site from the time the animal is dispatched - shall we say? - until the meat is processed. Custom butchers only require an inspector at time of dispatch, but are rarely on site for the meat processing.
We strive to maintain fair and transparent business and farm practices while supplying our customers (aka investors) quality products through an online store, local farmers' markets, local stores and other venues.

the wildcat Vision
Our vision is to be able to bring quality farm products to as many people in the greater Ohio area and beyond as possible. We utilize sustainable growing methods for both our livestock and our produce, as well as regenerative practices to rebuild our soil. We use rotational grazing for our cattle so other pastures not in use can regrow. We want to meet the needs of our customers while providing an outlet for connection back to the local farmer and revitalize the industry.
